Hables English is a unique language program designed specifically for Latin Americans who want to speak more natural sounding English.

In today’s global business environment it is absolutely necessary to understand naturally spoken language. Speaking with confidence in a second language can be intimidating for the non-native speaker in impromptu meetings, presentations, audio-conferencing, in social settings and particularly in highly charged situations where one is responsible for ‘making the deal’.

For Spanish speakers who have chosen to conduct business in an English-speaking environment - Hables English can and will make a difference!

Our English speaking participants are native speakers from the USA, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.   They are volunteers. They are not teachers - and they do not teach language skills. They are native-English speakers who represent a cross-section of life with broad experience, curiosity, stories, traditions and ideas to share. Most have traveled extensively. Our English speakers are interesting people who are interested in others. They come to Hables English prepared to talk and to listen for 8 straight energy-packed days.

Our Spanish speaking participants also come from diverse backgrounds and cultures - from across all of Latin America. They represent a variety of professions, many employed by international firms. They are moderately proficient in English as a second language. Many are accomplished journalists, lawyers, writers, engineers. Many others have positions in sales, marketing, management, administration, education and health care.

In a one-week session 10 English speakers will meet 10 Spanish speakers. After a week of 12 to 14 hour days YOU will have laughed, talked and probably cried, your way through 90+ hours of spontaneous conversation. You will have new ideas and opportunities. You will have made new friends and put a friendly face on a friendlier world.

And you will have done it all in English - because not a word of Spanish is allowed.
